Regal Sunrise

Mummy and me beach outing (24)It was a royal sunrise,

Purple waves unfurled,

On the gold speckled shores.

The big, black birds…

Swooped real low

Checking their reflections,

Before they moved ashore.

The morning sun glinted,

Through the pastel waves.

Silver spray,

Joyously tinkled,

Upon the bystanders,

Who stood silently,

In awe.
